     Backend products can be your own products as well as affiliate products. Usually after your customers already purchased your products, they are taken to a thank you page. On this page, you can recommend other valuable products. When people have already spent money, they are already in the buying mood. You already gained their trust and they are apt to purchase more from you. If you have your own shopping cart system and you’ve collected your customers email addresses and names, you can bypass the product recommendation on the thank you page and instead send them a personal email offering your backend products which will be complementary to what they already bought. But you can also use the thank you page plus the email marketing idea. It’s simply more exposure for your backend products. By implementing this technique which costs you nothing, you can sky-rocket your sales. Of course, not all your customers will buy your backend products but a percentage will, so that’s purely additional profits from backend selling.
    (3) Offer Discounts and Special Promotions
    You can also make special offers and give promotions to boost your sales. People love discount and promotions so use it to your advantage but make them genuine. You can use limited product inventory in the process like “This special offer is only valid for a limited time and to the next 50 orders only”.
